Mohammad Taufiq, atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama emte, dalam
kesehariannya berprofesi sebagai ilustrator, desainer grafis, seniman, dan
juga komikus yang aktif terlibat dalam berbagai kolaborasi dengan banyak
brand, proyek komersial dan kesenian, baik kolektif maupun personal. Ia telah
mengeksplorasi medium komik sejak tahun 1993, karya komiknya memiliki
spektrum tema yang luas; dari komik advertorial hingga komik underground.
Pada tahun 2018 ini, komik Gugug! menjadi karya terbarunya dalam
cakrawala komik Indonesia dan internasional.

Mohammad Taufiq, popularly known as emte, is a professional illustrator who
also works on graphic design, fine art, and comics. He started making comics
in 1993, his works have reached a broad spectrum; extending from advertorial
strips to personal underground comic-zines. Gugug! itself is his latest personal
project beside working with brands for commercial projects and participating
