Marlene Tabalujan Setiyadi is a seasoned interior designer who acquired her sense for design through her hankering for what she calls coziness. Later she developed her style throughout her 18 years of advising clients, architects, project contractors and other interior design artists.

Principle designers who she is re-presenting in her company, Cipta Merkurius Internasional, such as Tricia Guild, Designers Guild, Anthony Little of Osborne and Little and Nina Campbell influenced much of her creative flair for decorative work. She also creates inspiring design compositions with other principals like Jim Thompson Thai Silk and Murray Douglas of Brunschwig and Fils.

She educates herself continously by par-ticipating in design exhibitions all over the world, visiting houses decorated by world-class designers and reading a lot of books. She is married with four children and shares part of her time running her Excecutive Search Firm and IQ Recruitment and Training Specialist.
